Marvin Richardson Vincent (Poughkeepsie, 11 settembre 1834 – Forest Hills, 18 agosto 1922) è stato un biblista e pastore statunitense di religione pesbiteriana, noto per il volume intitolato Word Studies in the New Testament.

Fu professore di Esegesi e Critica testuale del Nuovo Testamento presso l'Union Theological Seminary di New York.

Biografia

Dopo essersi laureato alla Columbia University nel 1851, Marvin Vincent insegnò alla Columbia Grammar School. Dal 1858 al 1862, fu professore di lettere classiche alla Troy Methodist University; poi fu pastore della Pacific Street Methodist Episcopal Church a Brooklyn dal 1862 al 1863; e pastore della First Presbyterian Church di Troy, New York, dal 1863 al 1873. Successivamente alla Presbyterian Church of the Covenant, una piccola chiesa in stile gotico vittoriano al 310 East 42nd Street.

Morì a Forest Hills il 18 agosto 1922.
