Publishing terms for authors

1. The work and the rights

By publishing, you declare that you are the author of the work or have permission from the rights holder, and that it does not infringe third-party rights. The copyright remains yours.

You grant JVA Editora a non-exclusive license to display, sell and deliver the work in digital format through the site while it is published. You may sell the book elsewhere.

2. Price and payout

You choose the sale price, between R$2.99 and R$500.00. Of each confirmed sale, 70% of the amount paid is yours; the rest covers payment fees, hosting and running the store.

The amount enters your balance when payment is confirmed. Refunded or reversed sales leave the balance. Payouts are made by transfer to the registered bank account in your name, from a balance of R$20.00.

3. Payment details

To publish you must provide your full name, CPF, date of birth, phone, address and a bank account you own. You must be 18 or older.

These details are stored encrypted, used only for payouts and legal obligations, and never appear on any public page. The book page shows only the author name you choose.

4. Publishing and removal

The book enters the catalog as soon as you publish. You can unpublish it at any time; buyers keep access to their copy.

The publisher may remove from the catalog any work that violates the law, third-party rights or these terms, notifying the author.

5. Artificial intelligence

The book details and cover may be suggested by artificial intelligence from your text. Nothing is published without your review, and you are responsible for what you publish.

The Portuguese version of these terms is the legally binding one.
